Registration: Specialist Carbon Literacy Programme for Forest School Leaders
Flexible online learning and a live virtual training session
Includes Carbon Literacy Certification through the Carbon Literacy Project (subject to successful completion)
As sustainability becomes increasingly important across education, many Forest School Leaders are finding themselves discussing climate change, biodiversity and environmental action as part of their everyday practice.
Developed in partnership with the Carbon Literacy Project, this is the UK's first Carbon Literacy programme designed specifically for Forest School Leaders.
Rather than adapting a generic Carbon Literacy course, we've created a programme that reflects the realities of Forest School practice, helping you build confidence while staying true to the ethos of Forest School.
Throughout the programme you'll:
Understand climate change and sustainability with confidence
Explore practical ways to reduce the environmental impact of your Forest School provision
Develop confidence discussing environmental issues with children and families
Learn approaches for supporting eco-anxiety in a hopeful and constructive way
Explore biodiversity, conservation and environmental stewardship through Forest School
Gain an internationally recognised Carbon Literacy Certification
Whether you work in schools, Early Years, Alternative Provision, charities or independently, the programme has been designed to strengthen the work you're already doing.
